The Challenges

Prior to working with Trajectory, Trace3 was not fully utilizing NetSuite to its maximum potential. This was due to a lack of internal competence at using and maintaining the system as well as a lack of ability to cultivate internal product champions who would support the execution of projects. Both of these factors led to a very low return on Trace3’s investment in the NetSuite platform.

The Solution

  • Trajectory architected and delivered NetSuite Professional Services Automation (PSA), which is a part of the NetSuite Services Resource Planning (SRP) solution, which helped Trace3 accurately plan, track and execute projects as a Value-Added Reseller (VAR).
  • Trajectory addressed Trace3’s NetSuite configuration, revenue recognition, and CRM workflow, as well as integrated their provisioning and purchasing systems.
  • Trajectory implemented Adaptive Insights software for budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
  • Trajectory ran training sessions for Trace3’s administrators and power-users in order to refine their skills to meet departmental and organizational needs.

The Results

  • Trace3 now has increased insights into their sales pipeline and improved uniformity of their sales process.
  • Post-integration, they can access accurate sales item information.
  • The finance, provisioning and purchasing processes are all running more efficiently, and the budgeting, forecasting and planning activities can be executed faster and more effectively.
  • As a result of the training provided by Trajectory, with a minimal increase in overhead and workforce, Trace3 has been able to expand adoption of the solution to over 100 users managed by trained administrators.
